A Thousand Ways runs ongoing Cataract Surgery Camps across underserved communities in Africa, bringing life-changing care to those who need it most. In April 2026, our team completed a successful camp in Uganda — 93 individuals between the ages of 14 and 85 received sight-restoring surgeries.

For many of these patients, years of impaired vision had limited their ability to work, attend school, care for their families, and participate fully in their communities. Today, they can see again.

Each surgery represents more than a medical procedure — it represents renewed independence, restored dignity, and new hope for the future. And this is just the beginning
