Mali Orphanage School Project

Bamako, Mali • Ongoing

About the Project

A Thousand Ways is proud to support children living in an orphanage in Bamako, Mali — led by Dr. Umut Duygu Uzunel, a dedicated advocate for children in underserved communities. Over 200 children call this orphanage home, many of whom dream of receiving an education and building a brighter future. We believe every child deserves that chance.

What We Do

A Thousand Ways has launched a fundraising campaign to send orphaned children in Bamako to school before the new academic year begins.

For $500 USD per child, we provide:

  • Full-year school tuition

  • School uniforms and clothing

  • School supplies and materials

  • Daily meals during the school year

Our Goal

Education is one of the most powerful gifts we can give — providing hope, opportunity, and the chance to break the cycle of poverty. Every contribution, large or small, makes a difference. Whether you sponsor an entire child or contribute any amount, you become part of their journey toward a better future.
